Telangana latest news : Cyberabad’s traffic operations have been intensified against drug addicts who come on the roads drunk on weekends. On Friday and Saturday, 212 people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Cyberabad Joint CP Joel Davis said that they will be produced before the court. Most of the people caught are two-wheeler drivers. 165 two-wheelers, 34 cars and four-wheelers, three heavy vehicle drivers and ten people were caught driving autos under the influence of alcohol. The police noticed that 21 people were intoxicated to the point of not being conscious and their blood alcohol concentration was found to be 200 to 550 grams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood sample. According to Section 105 of the Indian Penal Code, ten years imprisonment and fine will be imposed on those who cause accidents if they drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol. It is suggested that vehicles should not be driven under the influence of alcohol under any circumstances.
