Bhuvanagiri Urban: Yadagirigutta Lakshminrisimhudi temple was thronged with devotees on Sunday. On the second day of the month of Kartika, being a weekend holiday, devotees in large numbers reach the kshetra to visit the Ishtadaivas. The parking lot was filled with vehicles and vehicles were also parked on the ring road around the field. In celebration of the month of Kartika, the temple was crowded with devotees from 7 am to 5 pm for satyadev’s vows and specially arranged lamp worship places. At the sanctum sanctorum on top of the hill, along with Panchanarasimhu, they visited Lord Ramalingeswara Swamy and paid their respects.
About 50,000 devotees who came in special and Dharmadarshan queues visited the Ishtadaivas. VIP ticket (Rs. 150) took one hour for darshan and 2 hours for Dharma darshan. Meanwhile, the main temple, Kalyanotsavam, Vrata Mandapalu, Temple Thiruveedhus, Shiva Temple, Prasada Vendashala, Kondakinda Vrata Mandapam, Lakshmi Pushkarini, Annadana Satram, Kalyana Katta and other premises became crowded with devotees. Evo Bhaskar Rao said that an income of Rs.60,82,772 has been collected for the temple treasury through various departments.
