Business: The accessories and fashion jewelry brand, Accessorize London aims to seriously expand its brick-and-mortar footprint in India and open between seven and 10 stores per year for the next three years, it will be focusing on travel retail for growth.
Currently, we are on a focused retail expansion especially since we had to shut some stores in the pandemic,” said Kumar Saurabh, chief executive officer of Planet Retail Holdings Private Limited. “Now, we are ready to bounce back with an intent of opening about seven to 10 stores each year,” India Retailing reported.
Now Accessorize London has 30 large retail stores in Indian cities, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Amritsar, Gurugram, Ahmedabad, Goa, Nagpur, and Hyderabad. The company sells to women and girls and offers a huge range of fashionable accessories and jewelry led by trend.
Tap high levels of footfall at airports, and it may open more stores at such locations, said Saurabh Chowdhary, Accessorize London’s managing director. “Accessorize thrives in locations with strong footfall due to its appeal as an impulse buy brand.
