Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan focused on prevention of sea erosion in Andhra Pradesh coastal area. An agreement has been signed between the National Center for Coastal Research (NCCR) and the AP Coastal Management Zone Authority to prevent land erosion due to rising waves in the coastal region. The Deputy CM released the plan prepared by NCCR on Coastal Area Management.
Speaking on this occasion, Pawan said that we have paid special attention to prevent the risk of sea erosion. He recently reviewed the erosion on the Uppada coast and discussed it with experts. Where is the erosion problem along the state’s coast? Pawan directed the officials to study what steps should be taken to protect them. He said that plans are being made to select suitable places for new ship docks and fishing harbours.
