Paralympics : India won another silver medal in Paralympics. Yogesh Kathunia (42.22 meters) bagged silver in men’s discus throw F56.
Brazil’s Claudini Bautista (46.86m) bagged the gold. Greece’s Konstantinos Zounis (41.32m) finished third and won the bronze medal. With Yogesh’s latest medal win, India’s medal tally in this Paralympics has reached eight. This is Yogesh’s second medal in the Paralympics.
He also won silver in Tokyo. On the other hand.. Sivarajan- Nithyashri disappointed in the Badminton mixed doubles SH6 bronze medal fight. 17-21, 12-21 lost to Indonesian pair Subhan-Rina Marlina.
