Amaravati: The NDA government gave a sweet talk to the farmers in Andhra Pradesh budget meeting. Chandrababu Sarkar has allocated Rs.4,500 crores for the “Annadata Sukhibhava” scheme in the budget. Through this scheme, the state government will deposit Rs. 20 thousand in the farmers’ accounts. It is being prepared to be implemented from Sankranti 2025. It is trying to wipe the tears of rice donors by allocating funds to this extent.
CM Chandrababu promised during the AP assembly election campaign that he will implement Annadata Sukhibhav scheme. He has already fulfilled many promises made during the election. Recently, he has been providing free gas cylinders to women under the Mahalakshmi scheme since Diwali. But Annadata Sukhibhav Scheme was implemented under YCP regime as “YSR Rythu Bharosa”. Currently, in addition to the Rs.6,000 given by the Center while changing its name, the Chandrababu Sarkar will add Rs.14,000 and provide Rs.20,000 to the farmers. It was also announced as a witness of the assembly that the scheme will be implemented from this Sankranti.
On the other hand, the budget was introduced by the AP government in the assembly. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav has proposed a budget of Rs.2.94 lakh crore. Funds have been allocated to several key sectors with due priority. Also, Minister Achchennaidu introduced the agriculture budget in the assembly. He proposed a budget of Rs.43,402 crore in the House. Also, Minister Achchenna clarified about the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme, which the farmers are eagerly waiting for.
