Balayya : Telugu film industry (Tollywood) has come forward to help the victims in the wake of both Telugu States being severely damaged by the floods.
Currently, the Chief Ministers of the two Telugu states are monitoring the situation in the flood affected areas. The damage is estimated to be huge. It is commendable that more celebrities are coming forward from the Telugu film industry. While some celebrities have already announced donation to Telugu states.. Recently Nandamuri Natasimham Balayya donated Rs. 1 crore.
Since 50 years, my acting career has been going on and shining.. This is the bond intertwined with the blessings of the Telugu language. This debt is inexhaustible. This birth is for you.. for your happiness. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me in this journey. Currently Telugu soil is flooded. In these dire circumstances, with a heavy heart, I am donating Rs.50 lakhs to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Rs.50 lakhs to Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief of the affected people. I am praying to God that normal conditions will be restored in both states very soon.
