On this occasion, BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar said that peace and order in Bengal has failed. They said that they will launch a protest on behalf of their party at the RG Kar Medical College where a doctor was murdered last week. Also, under the auspices of BJP Mahila Morcha, a candlelight rally will be held from Hazra Crossing to Kalighat in Kolkata. Roads will be blocked across the state on Friday, he said.
