Latest news India : Protests over the murder of a doctor in West Bengal’s Kolkata continue to rage. In this context, BJP reacted strongly to the destructive incidents that took place at RG Car Medical College on Thursday morning.
In the wake of this incident, CM Mamata Banerjee has demanded to resign from her post. In protest against these incidents, the women’s wing of the BJP will hold a candlelight rally on Friday till CM Mamata Banerjee’s residence.
On this occasion, BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar said that peace and order in Bengal has failed. They said that they will launch a protest on behalf of their party at the RG Kar Medical College where a doctor was murdered last week. Also, under the auspices of BJP Mahila Morcha, a candlelight rally will be held from Hazra Crossing to Kalighat in Kolkata. Roads will be blocked across the state on Friday, he said.
