Burning of documents on Karakatta.. AP govt orders investigation
The AP state government has ordered a full inquiry into the burning of documents on the embankment of the Krishna river. It is seriously considering coming secretly in a government vehicle at night, unloading the bags on the curb and burning them. Considering the presence of computer hard disks and identity cards along with the papers, the government intends to take strict action against those responsible.
At around 9 pm on Wednesday, some people came to Karakatta in Innova car number AP16 EF 2596. This vehicle has a government vehicle sticker. They stopped the car at Srinagar Colony near Pedapulipaka of Penamalur mandal and started burning the bags of dastra on the curb. A TDEPA worker who was passing by noticed this. As the documents contained pictures of former Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and former Chairman of Pollution Control Board Sameer Sharma, he immediately informed Penamalur MLA Bode Prasad and TDP leaders.
