The case of Bhimavaram girl Tejaswini, who was found in Jammu, has taken a turning point. She told the police that Anjad took her by force on the promise of marrying her. A case was registered against him. Hotel management student Tejaswini and Anjad, who have been missing for the past 9 months, were brought to Bejawada by the Vijayawada police from Jammu in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Later Machavaram police took them into their custody and questioned them. Statements were taken from them. She said Anjad forcibly took her from Vijayawada on October 28 last year, believing that she would get married. In the statement, the young woman explained that in 9 months, she could not talk to anyone on the phone, they traveled many places and finally landed in Jammu. She said that she was kept in a room in Jammu where she could not go anywhere as she did not know the language. It is learned that Anjad told the police that they went willingly. Machavaram police registered a case against Anjad based on Tejaswini’s statement. An FIR has been registered under Sections 342, 366 and 323 of the BNS against the crimes of illegal arrest, forced marriage, assault and arrest. Police handed over the girl to her mother. The accused is currently in police custody. He will appear in court on Thursday.

On Monday evening around 4.30 pm, when Anjad was not present, she picked up the phone and sent a message on Insta to her sister. She immediately informed Vijayawada police. By the time the address was clarified, it was 5 pm. Immediately the details were sent to the Jammu Police from Vijayawada. The local police went there and took the young woman and the young man into their custody and brought them to the Gandhinagar station in Jammu. At 7 o’clock on Tuesday night, they sent the photos of the two to the Vijayawada police. Within two hours, the Jammu Police completed the operation and took Tejaswini and Anjad into their custody.
