Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that it has been a long time since such programs were launched in AP . He said that tourism will get rid of stress. CM participated in Tourism Day.
Tourism Day was started by lighting the Jyoti. He then spoke. “Lakh crores of business is in the tourism sector. If proper marketing is done, tourism in India will develop a lot. Communism.. Capitalism is all gone.. Tourism is left. After agriculture, most people get employment in tourism. Temple tourism has more scope in AP.
Atithi Devobhava is our tradition.. This is the theme of tourism. Marketing is very important for tourism. It has a coastal area of 974 km. There are many cultures, temples, Buddharamas, spiritual centers and sanctuaries. We are lucky to have Venkate Swara Swamy in our state. Recently Tirumala has also become controversial. Traditions should be respected in temples. Laws should be enforced.” He commented.
Chandrababu Naidu said that adulterated ghee with animal fat was brought to God to offer medicine. They said that it is their responsibility to ensure that no mischief takes place in any temple. “If the environment is clean and peaceful, those who stay for one day will stay for two days. Those who came to Puttaparthi peacefully, Sai Baba’s prophecies.. Those who wanted to stay for a week because of the calmness, stayed for up to six months.
People suffered a lot due to floods. Already Rs. 420 crores came as donations. Donors prove that goodness lives on. Temple, eco, adventure tourism should be developed. There are beautiful places like Lambasinghi, Papikondalu, Konaseema. Beach tourism can be increased through beach festivals. Sea-plane is coming to Bejwada soon. Rushikonda got Blue Flag certificate.. Plans to get Blue Flag certificates for other tourist spots.
It’s not about doing jobs.. You have to rise to the level of getting jobs. Srisailam and Suryalanka will be converted into iconic tourist centers. We will install CCTV cameras in the entire state. Measures to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. There are heritage houses in rural areas… they can also be turned into tourism spots.” Said that.
CM Chandrababu Naidu said that tourism will be given industry status soon. “We will make a tourism policy soon. There are only 3 thousand rooms in AP. The rooms in Hyderabad alone.. are in AP.. this should be increased. Using technology makes work easier. Even if there was a large flood, we could see that infectious diseases did not prevail.
If people don’t look at each other again.. AP will turn into Swarnandhra Pradesh. I am fighting a demon.. I have to cast it out. Tourists who come to our town should be treated the same way. People should be tourism friendly. Tourism should develop to talk about AP from this year.” He said.
