Chandrababu’s key instructions to officials.. Be alert -!!
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu gave important orders to the officials. Chandrababu conducted a high level review on seasonal diseases in the state. The CM said that the authorities should take action in the case of seasonal diseases from the beginning….If they take action now, they will not get full results.
He directed that the medical health, municipal and panchayat raj departments should work in coordination on public health. It has been suggested that the best policies implemented in the previous administration should be continued.
Chandrababu Review
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu reviewed the measures taken to prevent seasonal diseases with three departments. The officials briefed the CM on the measures taken to prevent diseases. Officials explained that they are implementing activities to prevent malaria and dengue….Fever cases are being monitored from time to time and special focus has been put on high risk cases. He said that rapid test for dengue and chicken pox is available in government hospitals. So far this season, 60 cases of diarrhea have been reported in the state. He said that currently there are 35 active cases of diarrhea in 6 villages. It is explained that 9 people died of diarrhea in this season.
Take immediate action
Officials explained that all of them died due to diarrhea due to contaminated drinking water. After that, the Chief Minister said….The Chief Minister opined that due to the contaminated drinking water, lack of sanitation and lack of measures to prevent mosquitoes in the villages and towns, people are suffering from diseases and appropriate pre-emptive measures should be taken against them. The CM directed the officials to give high priority to safe drinking water and cleanliness. The Chief Minister suggested that the medical and health department should pay more attention to the number of people affected by seasonal diseases, especially in the tribal areas. The CM commented that at least drinking water tests are not being conducted.
There is nothing to ignore
The CM warned that if there is a threat to people’s lives due to the negligence of the officials, there is nothing to ignore. The CM said that in case of dengue, lakhs are spent on treatment and families are left on the road. The CM suggested that the three departments should work in coordination in the prevention of seasonal diseases and only then results will come. Chandrababu ordered the ministers and officials of the three departments to hold a special meeting on this and go ahead with the action. The CM suggested that most of the seasonal diseases will be solved if sanitation works, continuous fogging and provision of safe drinking water are provided.
