Crime branch officials met actor Govinda

Mumbai Crime Branch officials on Wednesday met Bollywood actor Govinda, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital after a licensed revolver exploded and sustained a bullet injury to his left leg.

Inquired about the incident. While the local police have already started an investigation into the incident, the Mumbai Crime Branch is also conducting a parallel investigation. The police said that no one has filed a complaint about this incident so far. He was on his way to the Kolkata airport for a show when an accidental bullet hit him below the left knee. He is currently recovering in a private hospital in Mumbai.

In the wake of this incident, the crime branch team headed by senior police officer Daya Naik met Govinda at the hospital. Officials questioned Govinda about the incident. Govinda said that the gun went off on Tuesday morning. A gun belonging to the Webley company went off and the bullet hit him below the knee of the left leg. Govinda said that it was a very old gun, it was not locked and misfired. Police officials have seized the revolver for further investigation.

His wife Sunita said on Wednesday morning that Govinda’s health is better. She said that he will be shifted to the normal ward today and discharged in two days. She asked fans not to worry that Govinda is recovering with God’s blessings.
