Vijayawada: District Collector G. Srijana has directed the officials to ensure the success of Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations in a coordinated manner without allowing any shortcomings to the common devotees.
Collector, CP Rajasekhar Babu and MLA Sujana Chaudhary held a meeting with the officials of the concerned departments regarding the arrangements for Dussehra celebrations to be held on Indrakiladri from October 3 to 12.
The collector said that on behalf of the state government, Chief Minister Chandrababu will present silk clothes to the goddess on Moola Nakshatra day, and appropriate arrangements should be made for that. As part of the festivities, the goddess will appear to the devotees in various adornments.
