Politics is changing in Pithapuram. The gap between TDP and Janasena is increasing. Jana Sena leaders are staying away from TDP leader Verma. They are angry that Verma is not given priority in official programs in the constituency.
Although the leadership of the two parties is united, they look different in Pithapuram. With this, Verma’s supporters are burning with anger. There is suspense over the decision Verma will take now.
Politics of Pithapuram
The scene has changed in Pithapuram in three months. TDP leader Verma, who sacrificed his seat for Pawan’s victory, is not getting priority. Locally, there is a rumor going around that Verma almost broke up with the Kakinada Janasena MP. Even though the leadership suggested that both parties should work together in the constituency, the TDP cadre is angry that they are not getting recognition. The ousting of Verma has angered his supporters.
Varma is not given priority
Varma is present every time Pawan visits Pithapuram. But, the Jana Sena leaders are of the opinion that they are not giving recognition to Verma at that level. Verma is not getting invited to the official functions organized by Janasena locally. As Verma is a former MLA, he is discussing the issues of the constituency with his local contacts. Janasena supporters do not like that. They are questioning how Verma will decide what he wants.
Verma what next
Pawan is completely confined to his duties as Deputy CM. As a result, local leaders of Jana Sena do not like playing an elder role in Verma constituency. The opinion is being expressed that the officials are having trouble with the pressure coming from both the parties. Pawan promised to give MLC to Verma if he comes to power at the time of finalization of the contest, but it was not implemented. It is reported that Verma is impatient with the successive developments. With this, what Verma is going to do now becomes interesting.
