Orlando : Shooting continues in America. A teenager opened fire indiscriminately on a crowd of people celebrating Halloween in downtown Orlando early Friday morning.
Two people were killed and six others were injured in this firing. According to Orlando Police… the deadly shooting happened outside The Block, a nightlife area with 7 different clubs where hundreds of people had gathered for Halloween festivities. Six injured people were taken to area hospitals for “further treatment,” Smith said. The age of the victims ranged between 19 to 31 years.
Currently, their condition is said to be stable. Police identified the suspect as 17-year-old Jaylen Dwayne Edgar shortly after the incident. The police took him into custody after he opened fire on the crowd a second time. It is said that the accused was earlier arrested in 2023 in a case of grand theft.
