NRI Breaking News: The Pakistan military on Monday announced that it had arrested former ISI chief Faiz Hameed in connection with a housing scheme scandal and initiated court martial proceedings against him. It is for the first time in the country’s history that an intelligence chief has been taken to task. The army said the process of Field General Court Martial had started and Lt Gen Faiz Hameed (Retd) was now in military custody. Disciplinary action was being taken against him under the Pakistan Army Act.
