Currently, IRCTC is used for ticket booking. Different apps should be used to know PNR status and train live status. IRCTC is bringing a new super app to check those problems. All types of railway services will be available through this app (IRCTC Super APP).
It is becoming very difficult to use various apps for ticket booking, PNR status, and tracking status related to the railway department. Indian Railways is going to bring a new super app to overcome this problem. Henceforth ticket booking, PNR status, and train tracking can be done in this app. Moreover, this app is also useful for ordering food while traveling by train. Also, from platform tickets to general tickets can be purchased in online mode. This super app will be available at the end of December.
At present, more than 10 crore people have downloaded and used the IRCTC Rail Connect app. This is currently the most popular railway app. Apps like Rail Madad, UTS, Satark, TMC-Direction, IRCTC Air, and Portread are also providing railway services to the public. Railways is preparing to provide all these services through the OK Super app.
