Good news for the people of Andhra Pradesh– Another important development in the construction of Amaravathi
Many key projects were approved during AP CM Chandrababu’s first visit to Delhi. Chandrababu who knows that the construction of Amaravati is the first goal…According to that, he got approval from the center for several key projects needed for the development of the capital.
In addition to the construction of the outer ring road like the heart of the capital, the extension of the Amaravati-Ananthapuram expressway, the construction of a new expressway between Hyderabad and Amaravati.
The government is giving high priority to the construction of Amaravati..is taking steps to reduce it. During his first visit to Delhi as Chief Minister, Chandrababu met various Union Ministers for two days. He asked them to cooperate especially in the construction of Amaravati and Polavaram project. As part of that, he met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and got approval for many key projects. The Center has approved projects to connect Amaravati to other parts of the state. The existing national highway between Amaravati-Hyderabad will be expanded to six lanes and a greenfield expressway will be constructed with another six lanes. This will reduce the distance between the two cities by about 70 km.
The Center has approved the construction of Outer Ring Road around Amaravati. A 189 km long outer ring road will be constructed connecting the joint districts of Krishna and Guntur. In the past, when Telugu Desam was in power, this project was planned…After Jagan came, Amaravati was neglected. Again Chandrababu (Chandrababu) placed this project before the Centre. According to earlier estimates, the construction of the outer ring road around Amaravati would cost around 18,000 crores… the center has come forward to bear the entire cost. Otherwise, the state government has to bear the four and a half thousand crores required for land acquisition. The project went forward to some extent with the then government agreeing to this. Chandrababu Nithingadkari has now convinced the central government to bear the cost of land acquisition along with the increased cost. 25 thousand crores will be fully borne by the Center including increased expenditure and land acquisition. Land acquisition will be taken up soon…works will be started. This road will be constructed as a six-lane access control expressway. Service roads are coming on both sides.
As there was no Inner Ring Road, it was proposed to build an Inner Ring Road around Amaravati along with an Outer Ring Road during the Telugu Desam period. Jagan, who came to power at the time when DPR was also prepared and started the work… it was put aside. Vijayawada Western Bypass was constructed instead. It is being constructed for 47.8 km from Chinnaoutpally on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway west of Vijayawada to Kaja via Amaravati. The construction of this road is almost complete. With this, Chandrababu withdrew the inner ring construction proposal. Instead of this, another bypass road to the east of Vijayawada was requested to be constructed…the center agreed. About 49 Kms of construction will be completed…it will be similar to Inner Ring Road to Amaravati.
Amaravati to Rayalaseema In the past, the construction of Amaravati-Ananthapur expressway was initiated to connect Rayalaseema districts to Amaravati directly during Telugu Desam government. Proposed to be straight with no turns anywhere. When Jagan came to power at the time when the land acquisition was completed and the work was started, this project was completely changed. Changes and additions were made to connect his own constituency Pulivendhula. They started construction of expressway from Kodikonda in Sathyasai district to Medarametla, saying that there is no need for a road till Amaravati. The tenders have already been completed…as the work has started, Chandrababu has decided not to move at all for the construction of this road. If not, connecting this expressway to be built up to Medarametla…the central government has agreed to build a 90 km long greenfield highway between Medarametla-Amaravati. With this, Rayalaseema districts will be directly connected with Amaravati. Due to this, those coming from Bengaluru, Rayalaseema as well as Nellore and Prakasam districts can reach Amaravati directly.
Amaravati-Hyderabad New Expressway In view of the increased traffic between Vijayawada-Hyderabad, the Center has approved the construction of a new expressway between Amaravati-Hyderabad besides expanding the existing national highway to six lanes. Due to this, the distance between the two cities is likely to be reduced to about 70 km. As more than 20 expressways are currently under construction in the country, Chandrababu requested to construct an expressway between Hyderabad and Amaravati. Moreover, there is this guarantee in the Partition Act.
