A gun misfired at the house of Bollywood actor, Shiv Sena leader Govinda. Govinda was injured in the accident and seems that he shot himself in the leg with his own gun.
It is reported that the incident took place at 4.45 am. There are media reports that the gun misfired while leaving the house in the morning. He was immediately admitted to Kriti Care Hospital nearby. After learning about the incident, the police reached the spot.
The police have now started an investigation into the matter. Police say that they have recovered Govinda’s gun and are investigating the matter in depth. It is said that Govinda’s leg is bleeding profusely and his condition is critical. As his condition deteriorated, he is currently admitted to Kriti Care Hospital in Andheri, police said.
Govinda has given many successful films in his career. Govinda played his roles in mega hit films like ‘Coolie Number 1’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Swarg’, ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’, ‘Raja Babu’, ‘Rajaji’ and ‘Partner’. These films were huge hits. Govinda has a unique reputation in Bollywood for delivering comedy blockbuster films. Govida was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Rangeela Raja’. The film was not a big hit on the screen. But lately he has been acting mostly in TV reality dance shows.
Govinda joined Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena before the Lok Sabha elections. He also campaigned extensively in the Lok Sabha elections. Govinda is married to Sunita. He has two children. While the daughter has entered films, the son is preparing to make his debut soon.
