Telangana latest news : Heavy rain lashed the city on Thursday evening. Motorists and commuters were inconvenienced due to rainwater on the road. As it was a holiday, the city dwellers who came out of their houses in the evening got soaked.
Authorities have issued warnings that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Hyderabad for another hour and people should be alert. GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi responded to the forecast of heavy rain. People have been requested not to come out of their homes unless it is an emergency. GHMC and DRF teams entered the field. A control room has been set up in GHMC.

All the roads were flooded due to sudden rain. Along with overflowing drainages at many places, motorists faced difficulties in traffic.
