The company has announced that it will take back 300-350 cc bikes. The company has released a statement to this effect. The company has also revealed why it has undertaken the recall of those models. The company has announced that the recall is due to defects in the speed sensor cam short.
CB 300F, CB 300R, CB 359, HNES 350 and CB 350 RS models are among the recalled models. These models are among those manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024. The company said in a statement that there is a possibility of water seeping into the speed sensor due to a mistake in the molding process, due to which the speed sensor as well as the traction or ABS may not work.
It has been revealed that in some cases there may be errors in braking. Also, the company has stated that there is a defect in the working of the cam short in the CB 350, Hnes CB 350 and CB 350 RS models manufactured between June and July 2024.
The company said that as a precautionary measure, the concerned parts are being replaced free of charge. The company said that this replacement process will be carried out at all Big Wheel dealerships of the company irrespective of the warranty.
