Let’s know full details..
Culture of Yadavs:
Yadavs celebrate Sadar festivals as a cultural symbol. It is customary for Yadavs to hold a sadar assembly every year on the occasion of Diwali. This festival is one of the major festivals held in Hyderabad. Only the Yadavas of the city celebrate the Sadar festivals with grandeur. These festivals are celebrated for two days after Diwali. It is also known as Dunnapotula Utsavam. A special feature of the Sadar festival is the wrestling of youths with decorated plows.
History:
It seems that the Yadavas have been celebrating this Sadar festival since five thousand years ago. Historians say that these festivals started as part of the Indus Civilization. History says that these festivals were spread in Telangana during the time of the Devagiri Yadava kings.. They used to live in the present Golconda, known as Gollakonda, as their center before the Kakatiyas.
It seems that the queen of the Yadavas who ruled the Gollakonda region in the later period faced the invasions of Qutb Shahi with the help of five ploughshares and died a heroic death. It is against this backdrop that history shows that the celebrations are held as a symbol of the heroism of the farmers. It seems that Yadava heroes worked effectively as military officers and bodyguards during the time of the Nizams.
