Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who campaigned on behalf of the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, made key comments. If Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) will re-join India. Yogi Adityanath campaigned on Thursday in RS Pura, Jammu, as the third phase of the last phase of elections is to be held in Jammu and Kashmir.
Yogi Adityanath said that Pakistan has failed to protect democracy and is in crisis. He said that if the BJP comes to power after the peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir, then soon after that the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir region will also join Jammu and Kashmir. They said that there is no democracy in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the third phase of elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir on October 1. Elections will be held for 40 seats. This is the first assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370. The results of Jammu Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections will be declared on October 8.
BJP is campaigning extensively in Jammu and Kashmir with the aim of forming the government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah along with Union Ministers and top BJP leaders visited Jammu and Kashmir several times and conducted election campaign.
On the other hand, Union Minister Amit Shah on Thursday issued a severe warning of terrorists during the election campaign in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that he is ready for peace talks with terrorists. Amit Shah strongly warned them to lay down their arms and negotiate with the government or be ready to die at the hands of the security forces.
He addressed an election campaign meeting held in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. Amit Shah made it clear that the opposition parties are asking for talks with terrorists for vote bank politics. Otherwise the security forces will give chase, he said.
He said that it has experienced many hardships due to terrorism for more than three decades and now it is moving forward in the path of development. He said that all this was possible only with BJP. Amit Shah said BJP has strengthened grassroots democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that he will not rest until terrorism is crushed.
