Indian Army: They are all lies.. Army explanation on compensation of Agniveer’s families
The Indian Army on Wednesday issued a statementregarding the compensation to the family of Agniveer Ajay Kumar who lost his life in the line of duty. The Army has denied allegations that it did not pay compensation to Ajay Veera’s family after his death.
The Indian Army has already paid Rs 98 lakh 39 thousand to Ajay’s family.
“We have already paid Rs. 98.39 lakhs to Agniveer Ajay’s family out of the total outstanding amount. As per the rules of Agniveer Scheme, the total amount will be settled soon after police verification. Rs. 1.65 crore is due to Ajay. As per the rules of Agniveer Scheme, another Rs. 67 lakh compensation, other benefits and will be settled once the police verification is done. This will make the total Rs.1.65 crore,” said Army Ex.
