NRI Latest News: The Iranian army is preparing to respond to Israel’s attack that occurred on October 26 in a major possible escalation amid the war that is ongoing between Israel and Iran. According to a report from the American newspaper Wall Street Journal, Iran is to use more deadly weapons against Israel than the ballistic missiles it used last time.

“Much stronger and more complex”, an Egyptian official was quoted saying in the report regarding Iran’s response to the October 26 Israeli airstrikes.
The report indicates that Iran is prepared to participate in the operation. Contrary to the previous missile attacks on April 13-14 and October 1, coordinated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, this new tactic is said to strike closer to Israeli defense sites. Even more interesting is the fact that the Iranian army is claimed to use Iraqi territory to launch its missiles.
Tehran will not think twice to take “stronger defensive actions” if Israel retaliates for last week’s missile attack by Tehran, said Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Friday. Iran is “fully prepared to take stronger defensive actions, if necessary, in response to any further aggression, and will not hesitate to do so,” Araqchi wrote in a letter to other foreign ministers, according to a ministry post on X.
Israel has stated it will respond to Iran’s missile attack launched Monday, October 1, in retaliation for Israeli strikes in Lebanon and Gaza and the killing of a Hamas leader in Iran.
Iran’s missile attack on Israel, Araqchi said, was in line with its right of self defence under international law and much restrained as it sought a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said Israel will hit Iran in a way that will be “lethal, precise and surprising”.
