District party presidents are being changed successively. In that order, the name of former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy was finalized as the president of Nellore district YCP. MLC Parvartha Reddy Chandrasekhara Reddy, who was the district president till now, has been shifted as the in-charge of Nellore City.
With that, the situation of former MLA of Nellore City and former minister Anil Kumar Yadav in YCP was made unclear. After the YCP suffered a heavy defeat in the state, it started to correct the mistakes. In the coming period, party leaders and activists are being screened for leaders who will go ahead aggressively.
Taking into account the performance of leaders so far..calculating their commitment to the party..appoints presidents for various districts. In that order, recently the joint Chittoor district party has given former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy the responsibility of president.
The joint Nellore district has come. MLC Parvarta Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy continued as the president of the joint district party till now. Hailing from Chittoor district, he won as MLC from East Rayalaseema Upadhyaya constituency. Chandrasekhar Reddy, who was not politically focused much, was elected as Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, who was the district president till then, joined TDP.
Jagan got the party position. Jagan felt that Chandrasekhar was not fit to lead the party in the current situation and appointed him as the in-charge of Nellore city. Sarvepalli ex-legislator and former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy was appointed as the president.
Former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy in the joint Nellore district is showing aggression against the ruling party and more especially TDP Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy. Currently Kakani Govardhan Reddy is the only leader who is raising his voice against the coalition government in the district.
His aggressiveness in criticizing the anti-government voice continues. Parvata Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy failed to show that level of aggression. Besides, in the 2019 elections, the YCP made a clean sweep in the district under the leadership of the then district YCP president Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy. YCP won 10 out of 10 assembly seats.
And in the previous election, the scene was reversed and that party did not get a single seat. In that order, former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy, who acts aggressively, has been finalized as the district party president. However, when Kakani worked as the district president of the party in the past, there are criticisms that he was limited to the party affairs of Sarvepalli constituency.
It is reported that the party leaders have taken the matter to the attention of the leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy. However, Jagan is leaning towards Kakani if there is no other alternative. Jagan has finalized the name of former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy as the president of the district party. Parvath Reddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, who is an MLC, has been assigned the responsibility of Nellore City.
Before the actual name of Kakani was announced, the YCP leaders were sifting through the district for a leader whose voice could be heard at his level. But there is no leader who can move forward at that level of speed. Former Minister, former MLA of Nellore City, fire brand leader Anilkumar Yadav’s silence also seems to have come together for Kakani.
When he was a minister during the YSP regime, Anil showed aggression against everyone without distinction. Behaved at will. With that, he became an enemy of the YCP leaders of the district. In the second term, Jagan, who appointed Anil as a minister, gave a chance to Kakani. Anil openly flagged Kakani at that time. Due to that aggression, Anil could not contest for the third time from Nellore City where he had won twice.
The YCP president who mentioned the name of the surveys sent him as the MP candidate for Narasaraopet. Anil was defeated there by a margin of about one and a half lakh votes. Since then he has stopped moving around in the crowd. They come and go to Nellore city also secretly. He spends time looking after his businesses in the neighboring states.
With the appointment of Kakani Govardhan as the district YCP president, Anil Yadav is said to have lost his place in the district party. As Chandrasekhar Reddy has been announced as the in-charge of his own constituency, Nellore City, it seems that Anil has run out of constituency to contest in the next elections. Overall, it is certain that the face of Nellore district YCP will change.
