For the first time in the 70-year history of Khairatabad Ganesh, difficulties are being faced. Ganesh idol-making work is not progressing. Every year the work of making the Ganesh idol of Khairatabad starts from 100 days before. This time the festival committee was divided into two factions. Due to this factionalism, there was a lack of coordination between the old committee and the new committee. Due to this, the idol work stopped for 36 days.
Utsava President Raj Kumar objects that the new committee is organizing programs without informing them. After Committee Chairman Sudarshan, his son Sudarshan organized the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsavs last year. Locals say that this year they will watch the festival work by themselves, leaving Singari’s family aside. This led to a clash. Danam Nagender stepped in to settle this dispute. A meeting of two committees will be held under his chairmanship. In this order, heavy police were deployed at Khairatabad Ganesh Mandapam.
