The recently unveiled teaser begins with a poignant scene, establishing the backdrop for YS Jagan’s (Jiiva) political journey as the son of YS Rajasekhar Reddy (Mammootty). It explores the challenges faced by YS Jagan during the Odarpu Yatra, where he strives to comfort those mourning the loss of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Yatra 2 powerfully portrays Jagan’s resilience, culminating in his triumph in the 2019 elections and subsequent tenure as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Director Mahi delves into the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2019 in this sequel.
The film features Mahesh Manjrekar as Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Suzanne Bernard as Sonia Gandhi, and Ketaki Narayanan as YS Bharathi.
