Mandeep won the WBF title

Indian professional boxer Mandeep Jangra became a winner on the world stage. He became the World Boxing Federation (WBF) World Super Featherweight champion.

The 31-year-old Haryana star crushed his opponent with his punches. He defeated British boxer Connor McIntosh in the final.

Mandeep attacked his opponent with powerful punches from the beginning of the title fight. The British boxer was not given a chance in any of the ten rounds. McIntosh could not resist Mandeep’s thrust. Meanwhile, Mandeep got his 11th victory in the amateur circuit. He entered the ring 12 times and won all but one of the matches.

Mandeep is training under former Olympic silver medalist Roy Jones. 31-year-old Mandeep won a silver medal at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, Mandeep spoke after winning the WBF title. He called it one of the biggest achievements of his career. Coach Roy Jones, assistant coach Asa Beard, thanked the Angels.

Mandeep said that this is the reward of many years of hard work. He said that this title will increase the prestige of the country. He also stated that it will inspire boxers to choose professional boxing as a career. Mandeep Jangra started his professional career in 2021.
