Amaravati: Labor Minister Vasamshetty Subhash reacted to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s reprimand. The minister said that there is nothing to be misunderstood except that Chandrababu scolded him like a father. He said that the TDP chief had given orders to win the alliance’s candidate Perabatula Rajasekhar in the upcoming MLC elections in the state. As part of that, they have been given the responsibility to register more graduate voters. Vasamshetty said that he held a teleconference with the leaders of the combined two Godavari districts, who were lagging behind in voter registration, and at that time he was reprimanded. Minister Subhash said that there is no need to take this wrongly.
On this occasion, Minister Vasamshetty Subhash said, “Chief Minister Chandrababu does politics based on values. I am not even a ward member. He won me as an MLA and gave me the post of minister to make BC society proud. It was my fault to be lazy in my work. That’s why Chandrababu reprimanded me like a father. With his words Chandrababu’s words may have been understood differently by all of you who will try to correct the mistake.
But we in the party do not take the leader’s words wrongly. If parents and teachers scold or beat children, it is only for their welfare. Also, whatever the party leader says, he says it for our good. His words yesterday made me realize that there are many things I need to learn about politics. No more laziness in my work. But many people are trolling this matter. I am not harmed by your insults and trolls,” he said.
