Narendra Modi : About 70 percent of people in India depend on agriculture for their livelihood . Farming is becoming easier with the changing times and the availability of advanced technology.
Earlier it was dependent on laborers, but now machines are doing the work. The central and state governments are supporting the farmers who are farming in a new way and are also providing necessary subsidies. It is known that the central government has started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana scheme. The scheme provides an annual assistance of Rs.6,000 under investment subsidy to the eligible farmers.
Under Kisan Aashirwad
According to the newly formulated guidelines, the central government will deposit Rs.25 thousand in the bank accounts of the farmers under five acres. It is divided by acres. Rs.25 thousand for farmers with 5 acres, Rs.20 thousand for farmers with 4 acres and Rs.10 thousand for farmers with 2 acres will be deposited in their respective accounts. The Center is introducing a new scheme called Kisan Aashirwad. If you add Rs.6 thousand from the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman fund to the account of farmers with 5 acres, they will receive a total of Rs.31 thousand.
Distributed in 17 installments
So far, the Center has disbursed money under investment assistance in 17 installments. 18th installment of two thousand rupees is to be disbursed. By the end of October, these will be deposited in the accounts of the donors. The land tax receipt, mobile number, Aadhaar card, bank account details, Pahani, passport size photos of the respective farmers are required. In the state of Telangana also they are providing Rs.15 thousand per acre under Rythu Bharosa. The previous government gave Rs.10 thousand in the name of Rythu Bandhu scheme, while the Congress government is giving Rs.15 thousand. The AP government is also going to implement this scheme for the farmers there soon. Officials are making procedures for this.
