NRI Latest News: French fashion house Mugler has announced the documentary premiere of ‘inside the Dream: Mugler’, set to air exclusively on Canal+ in France on 25th September.
Directed by Matthieu Menu and produced by Terminal 9, the 60-minute film here traces the creative journey of the house, meeting key people and key moments in its lead-up to a 50th anniversary.
The documentary weaves together previously unseen historical footage with exclusive behind-the-scenes moments, bringing insights from figures such as Pat Cleveland, Iman Bowie, Paris Hilton, and master perfumer Olivier Cresp.
There are key moments in the making of Mugler’s Angel and Alien fragrance campaigns starring Hunter Schafer and Anok Yai, and in the film, Zendaya appears in the chrome robot costume from the Fall/Winter 1995-1996 ‘Cirque d’hiver’ collection at the Dune 2 premiere. It also presents the making of the Spring/Summer 2024 runway show by the fashion creative director, Casey Cadwallader. “50 years of Mugler is something to be proud of through its creative bravery.
