My efforts are very little before our army

Actor Sivakarthikeyan said that compared to the hardships faced by our soldiers on the borders, the effort he put in for ‘Amaran’ was very little.

It is known that every movie he acted in is released in Telugu as well as Tamil. Amaran is the latest biographical action film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Hero Kamal Haasan is producing in association with Sony Pictures International Productions. Sai Pallavi is the heroine.

Sivakarthikeyan won the Best Actor (Critics) Award for his performance in ‘Maveeran’. On this occasion, Karthikeyan shared an interesting fact when asked on stage about his new film ‘Amaran’.

“At first I found it very difficult to play the role of an army officer. I went to Kashmir and spent three days with our soldiers. I have seen the responsibility they perform from the time they wake up in the morning to the time they go to bed. After seeing that difficulty, I felt that the effort I put in for the film and for my role was very little”.

This movie, which is being shot at a fast pace, will be released on October 31 in Telugu and Tamil languages. Shreshth Movies has acquired the theatrical rights in Telugu. This movie is being made based on the story of Major Varadarajan in the book ‘India’s Most’.

Siva Karthikeyan will be seen in the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an army officer. Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose and others are playing key roles. This movie is being made with a huge budget of around Rs.150 crores.
