Fashion News: Flipkart’s fashion wing Myntra expects to see a 1.6 times increase in online traffic compared to its usual levels during its flagship sale event the ‘Big Fashion Festival’, which goes live on September 26, offering ‘Myntra Insiders’ the first glimpse of the same from 25th September.
Myntra is confident that its festive flagship sale would rope in more traffic to its e-commerce store and mobile shopping app, India Retailing reported. The business will slash prices of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products and has tied up with Kotak Mahindra Bank to offer 7.5% + 5% off in addition to whatever discount shoppers using its co-branded credit card receive.”.
Its ‘Myntra FWD’ section will sell over 75,000 styles, targeting the Gen Z consumer market that is growing rapidly in the country. Myntra will offer deep discounts on around 470,000 products in its ‘home’ category and 70,000 styles in its ‘gifting’ segment.
“As we are set to kick off Myntra’s Big Fashion Festival, we are happy to make a massive selection of 3.4 million styles from among the best in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry available,” said Myntra’s senior director of revenue and growth Neha Wali, India Retailing reported. “With a spike in demand witnessed during earlier festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, we are anticipating a notable increase in demand during BFF.”
