Former MP Nandigam Suresh was arrested. Mangalagiri Rural Police arrested him in Hyderabad. A case has been registered against him in the case of attack on TDP central office.
The High Court dismissed the petition filed by Nandigam Suresh seeking anticipatory bail in this case. With this, he was found. As part of that, special teams of police went to Hyderabad and arrested them.
Suresh arrested
YSRCP leader and former Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh has been arrested by the police. The arrest was made in the case of an attack on the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, Guntur district. The High Court rejected Suresh’s anticipatory bail petition. Nandigam Suresh fled into hiding. Suresh is trying to escape from Hyderabad. After receiving the information, special teams of police went to Hyderabad and arrested him. Police are moving Suresh to Guntur district.
Attack on TDP office
There is a possibility that Suresh will be taken to the SP office first. After that the police will produce it in the court. After the High Court dismissed the bail petition, Suresh went into hiding fearing arrest. He switched off his cell phone. After waiting there for about 15 minutes, the police turned back. In this order, the police started investigating his whereabouts from Wednesday morning on the basis of cell phone signals. The police received a solid information that Suresh was trying to escape from Hyderabad.
A trap for other leaders
The special forces went to Hyderabad on the information received and arrested Suresh and shifted him to Mangalagiri. On the other hand, all YSRCP leaders accused in this case have gone into hiding. For Lella Appireddy, Devineni Avinash, Talashila Raghuram, etc., 12 teams were formed along with the police of Guntur, Bapatla and Palnadu districts. Some other YCP leaders are involved in the same case. In their case too, now there is political interest in the decisions taken by the investigating authorities.
