Politics has changed in Nidadavolu. Politics has become juicy. Political parties are taking steps with counter-strategies in the chairman’s chair. YCP split into two. In this background, a new color bloomed. A situation has arisen where the municipal council has passed away. The YCP was strong till yesterday with a total of 27 members in Nidadavolu Municipality. But last Friday, ten councilors, including municipal chairman Bhupathi Adinarayana, resigned from the party. Some openly commented that they were all resigning due to dissatisfaction with former MLA G. Srinivas Naidu. Arugallu Venkateswarlu and Akula Mukunda Rao among the councilors who resigned from the party whether 48 hours have passed or not, returned to the YCP scarf in the presence of former MLA G. Srinivas Naidu on Sunday. With this, the number of councilors who resigned has reached 8.
Within hours of this, politics changed again. Three councilors who have already resigned from YCP covered themselves with Jana Sena scarf in the presence of Minister Durgesh. Chairman Bhupathi Adinarayana, Vice Chairman Gangula Venkata Lakshmi, M.D. Shajirabegum, Munganti Manikyamala, Usurumurthy John Babu, Chilakala Sharada Devi, Saidu Chandrasekhar, Maddipati Nagashri Manupati Lakshmi joined the Janasena. There is a situation where the rest of the councilors are bypassing the YCP. If that happens, the Nidadavolu municipality will fall under the control of the Janasena.
There was a two-and-a-half-year contract between Adinarayana and Kamishetti Satthibabu on the chair of Nidadavolu Municipality Dirman as suggested by the then MLA G. Srinivas Naidu. Adinarayana’s tenure has already ended on that account. But he rejected the agreement and continues in the same position. On the other hand, Kamishetti Satyanarayana insists that he deserves the post. Criticisms are being heard that Adinarayana party changed to avoid it. On this, YCP leader Kamishetti Venkata Satyanarayana said that Bhupathi Adinarayana, who had publicly announced that he would resign as per their agreement, was accused of opening the affairs of Terachatu out of lust for office. At present, the politics of Nidadavolu chairman’s chair continues to be heated.
