In the case of phone tapping, the accused were once again caught. The Nampally court rejected the plea for bail. The court considered the request made by the police not to grant bail at a critical stage of the case investigation.
The accused in the phone tapping case, A3 Thirupatanna, A4 Bhujangarao and A5 Radhakishan Rao filed a bail petition in the Nampally court. They requested the court to grant mandatory bail as it has been 100 days since they were arrested and the police did not file the charge sheet.
Meanwhile, the court sent back the charge sheet filed by the police in the phone tapping case four times. The lawyer for the accused argued that the police could not file the charge sheet properly for three and a half months. But the police argued that the investigation of the case is at a critical stage and if bail is granted now, the investigation will be affected. As a result, the Nampally court, agreeing with the arguments of the police, dismissed the bail petition of the four accused.
