Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a strong criticism of the Congress during an election rally in Gujarat’s Anand. He accused the having Congress-Pakistan Partnership, which he claimed has now been exposed. Modi emphasized the need for a strong government, contrasting it with what he described as the weak governance during the Mumbai blast. He also highlighted India’s international standing, asserting that the Indian passport symbolizes safety and respect worldwide.

Modi accused Congress of neglecting backward communities and highlighted his government’s efforts in their upliftment. He challenged Congress to commit to preserving reservations for SC/ST/OBC communities and to refrain from divisive politics. Modi also criticized Congress’s manifesto, likening it to the Muslim League’s agenda.

Concluding his address in Gujarati, Modi expressed his aspirations for the BJP in the upcoming elections. He outlined his schedule for the day, which includes addressing rallies in Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar to drum up support for BJP candidates in various constituencies.
