Delhi Chief Minister Atishi’s official residence was sealed by PWD officials today. The Chief Minister moved the supplies from there. The Chief Minister’s official residence is on Flagstaff Road in Delhi.
After vacating the former CM Kejriwal from there, the new CM Atishi came to the residence. However, videos have come to light that PWD officials who came there today moved the CM’s belongings in rickshaws, trucks and cars. There is a war of words between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party over the sealing of this residence.
The BJP is alleging that after Kejriwal’s resignation, the keys of the bungalow were not handed over to the concerned department. She criticized that the new CM stepped into the bungalow again without the approval from the concerned department and without returning the keys.
However, the CMO’s office in a statement alleged that the Lt. Governor was behind the forced eviction of the Atishi officer’s residence. It is said that this is the first time in the history of the country that a CM’s residence has been vacated. It has been alleged that the Delhi CM Bhavan has remained a thorn in the side of the BJP for 27 years and the Lt. Governor is preparing to allot the bungalow to a senior leader of that party. LG’s office did not respond to the allegations.
