Business News: “We plan to foray into offline retail within the next year,” co-founder Shashank Saurabh told India Retailing. “We plan to start with airport stores and then will be signing up with large format retailers such as Pantaloons, Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, and others in tier-one cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru,” he added.
Launched as an eyewear brand, Que aims to continue to expand its product selection and plans forays into new categories including footwear, belts, accessories, and watches in the coming year. The label has no plans however to enter the apparel market.
“As we expand our product lines, we will be introducing options that appeal to a slightly broader age range while still maintaining a core focus on the youth market,” Saurabh added. The brand’s primary customer base belongs between 18 to 35 years old.
Shikhar Dhawan, the celebrity and former cricket player who invested in the label this summer endorses the brand. Que also brought on board Dhawan as a partner and brand ambassador, and he features in numerous campaigns for the label.
