It rained at many places in Hyderabad. Roads were waterlogged due to heavy rains in Uppal, Malkazgiri, Capra, Alwal and Nizampet areas.
Heavy rains are likely to occur in Telangana state for two more days, according to the weather department in Hyderabad. Heavy rain is likely to occur today in the afternoon and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of two low pressures occurring in the Bay of Bengal from July 15 to 22. Thus, heavy rains are expected in two Telugu states.
Meteorological department says that there will be heavy rains in Telangana and AP in the next 10 days under the influence of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Along with the two Telugu states, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka states are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains. Heavy rain forecast has been issued for Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityalu, Mulugu and other districts.
