Hyderabad: Central Vidyalayas are like a powerful mini India and every school is a reflection of unity in diversity, Kishan Reddy said. The Rashtriya Ekta Parv organized as part of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary celebrations at Tirumalagiri Central Vidyalaya was inaugurated by lighting a lamp. He called upon the youth to take up the challenge of making India a global leader in the coming years and work towards this. He said that efforts are being made to unite different cultures under the Ek Bharat Shrestha program. He said that programs like Rashtriya Ekta Parv help to unite the country culturally. He called upon the youth to play a vital role in making India a developed country by 2047.
MP Etala Rajender said that cultural integrity is strong in the country even after 75 years of independence. He said that such festivals will help to enrich the youth of the country with skills. The students of the respective states have set up stalls reflecting the arts and customs of the 25 states of the country. Central Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Central Vidyalaya Sangathan Commissioner Nidhi Pandey, Hyderabad Region Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Assistant Commissioner Manjunath, and others participated in the program.
