In the wake of recession fears, US market indices lost three percent on Monday. On the other hand, Asian markets have recovered today from yesterday’s heavy losses. It is noteworthy that Japan’s Nikkei gained 8 percent, Kospi 3 percent, and Topics gained more than 12 percent. The price of a barrel of Brent oil in the international market continues at 77.20 dollars. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 10,074 crore on Monday. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 9,156 crore.
