Latest News: We have seen many such examples of smartphone blasts that happened because of overheating, but this is the first time when a case of an earbuds explosion has come into the limelight, which blew up even inside the ear while they wore them.
Unfortunately, this wild thought actually becomes a reality! A Galaxy Buds FE user in Turkey revealed in a post on Samsung Communities that his earbuds exploded and caused a significant impact. A user named Bayazıt on Samsung communities shared a couple of images showing the Galaxy Buds FE while unlocking a new fear amongst Bluetooth earbuds user’s earbuds explosion.
He is a 24-year-old student living in Adana. Recently, he had bought a new pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. While debugging some notions that could have led to the explosion due to overcharging, he further added, “I did not charge it even once and the box comes with around 36 charges.” As unfortunate as it may sound, the earbuds in question exploded in his girlfriend’s ear when she borrowed it for him and put it on. But what is worst, it even causes permanent hearing loss! Bayazıt showed medical reports proving the same but hadn’t divulged them to the residents till date.
Samsung’s Response Leaves Him Helpless:
Within less than 24 hours of the incident, Bayazıt called Samsung customer care. The fellow named Ibrahim Bey told him to take the earbuds to Adana Cemalpaşa Samsung service for further investigation. Although Samsung apologized for the unfortunate happening at first, the report published by the company stated that the earbuds were defined and not exploded. The user further claims in the post that Samsung replied to say they would give another earbud in exchange for a deal to not apply for legal rights.
Even though their efforts lasted for months, Bayazıt found no middle ground for this case. Several other users made comments on the victim to take this case to court legally. However, Samsung hasn’t said any word on it officially.
