Tamilisai Soundararajan addresses the media

Speculation has been aroused by the recent meeting between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Tamilisai Soundararajan, the leader of the Tamil Nadu BJP. During the swearing-in ceremony of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, which was attended by notable individuals like Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a video surfaced. Many interpreted Shah’s gesture toward Soundararajan as a warning.

Soundararajan responded to this by clarifying on social media that Shah had talked about post-election tactics and emphasized the significance of constituency work. Dismissing any warning rumors, she explained that Shah’s gestures were a part of their private discussion about party responsibilities and election challenges.

Soundararajan, who was once Telangana Governor and ran for the Chennai South Lok Sabha seat, dealt with internal issues within the BJP amid recent changes in Tamil Nadu’s party dynamics. Despite ongoing rumors and questions from the media about Shah’s actions, Soundararajan decided not to say more. She stressed the importance of focusing on productive political work instead of discussing rumors spread by viral videos.
