Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court will hear today (Monday) the disqualification petitions of the MLAs. Kookatpally MLA KP Vivekanand Goud and Hujurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy have filed petitions seeking disqualification of the MLAs who won in the BRS party and joined the Congress party. The court will hear the petition today. The single judge’s verdict was challenged by the assembly secretary in the CJ bench. The Assembly Secretary said that the High Court should not interfere in the decisions of the Speaker. stated in the appeal.
In the petition, the BRS leaders demanded that the Speaker be directed to take action against the MLAs who switched parties. The CJ bench will once again hear the appeal today. Gandra Mohan Rao will present arguments on behalf of BRS. Padi Kaushik Reddy and KP Vivekanand Goud brought to the attention of the court that even if they complained to Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, they did not care. He questioned why the decision of the Supreme Court to take a decision on disqualification within three months is not being taken into consideration. A hearing will be held today in the High Court.
