Telangana RTC has provided an amazing opportunity for commuters going home for festivals. A key decision has been taken to provide easier transportation to passengers in the face of traffic congestion.
The RTC management has decided to run special buses for Dussehra from the suburbs of Hyderabad. It has been announced that special buses will be made available from MGBS, JBS, LB Nagar, Uppal, Aramghar, Santoshan Nagar, Kukatpally etc. for those going to their hometowns. It is special that the bus is running from the new AUR.
The management of RTC has taken steps to run buses to places like Vijayawada and Bangalore via Gachibowli and ORR for the software employees. MD VC Sajjanar held a meeting with his field level officials on Monday regarding special buses for Dussehra festival and facilities to be provided to passengers in busy areas. As in the past, orders have been issued to the employees to take measures so that the movement of passengers is not disturbed. RTC MD suggested that special buses should be made available depending on the traffic.
RTC MD said that special buses are being run to avoid any problems to people during Dussehra and Bathukamma festivals. It has been revealed that these special buses will be available for passengers from October 1 to 15. Special buses also have advance reservation facility. RTC MD said that these special buses will run from Hyderabad and Secunderabad to all parts of the state as well as to the states of AP, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
October 12 is Dussehra. Passengers are likely to increase on 9th, 10th and 11th. So RTC is ready to run special buses in those days. RTC will take steps to allot special lanes near toll plaza for RTC buses during the festival season.
