After the formation of the coalition government in the state , the Minister of Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh has directed the officials to conduct the mega DSC which is being conducted with the utmost prestige without any criticism.
On Tuesday, Minister Lokesh held a review on the management of Tet and Mega DSC with the top officials of school education. Various issues were discussed with the officials in the context of release of Tet notification and Mega DSC. There are requests from candidates to have more time between Tet and Mega DSC. State Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh has suggested to collect opinions from candidates, students and youth groups on the issue of when to conduct DSC.
There is no change in the syllabus otherwise Minister Nara Lokesh inquired about the false propaganda coming on social media regarding the syllabus. He explained that no changes have been made in the syllabus. The officials brought to the attention of the minister that the exam is going to be conducted in July 2024 with the same syllabus as the TET was conducted in February 2024. Officials said that the details of the syllabus have been made available at https://aptet.apcfss.in and that no changes have been made in the syllabus and there is no truth in the campaign going on in social media saying that TET will be conducted with the old syllabus.
In Mega DSC, several candidates mentioned the fact that they had met with him that some districts got less posts in various departments and asked for details. Officials explained that some people approached the court over the promotions of teachers in Prakasam district… due to which the posts were reduced. Lokesh ordered the officials to resolve the legal disputes related to the posts in Anantapur, Srikakulam and Nellore districts and take steps to fill the posts. The GO brought by the previous government regarding the closure of schools. 117 ordered to give a comprehensive report regarding any damage caused. He said that the authorities will bring to the attention of the minister the issues of relaxation of age limit in Mega DSC. It was decided in the meeting to give fee waiver in this DSC to the candidates who applied in the DSC notification released by the previous government before the elections. Lokesh asked the officials to study the demands of 1,633 teaching staff working under outsourcing in AP Tribal Welfare Residential Schools and give a report on the measures to be taken to avoid any loss to them.
