It seems that Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has put a special focus on the environment in AP. Recently, Pawan Kalyan spoke about a tree and suggested to the authorities that it is very dangerous and should be removed immediately.
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan conducted a review at Kakinada Collectorate. On this occasion the tree was mentioned. Pawan said that he had grown these Kono Corpus trees in his farmhouse in the past. But he said, knowing that there is danger with them, he removed them.
Officials have identified a total of 4,602 Kano conifer trees in Kakinada. The Deputy CM advised the officials to remove these trees in a phased manner. After the deputy CM Pawan Kalyan clarified that the edakula tree (Kono Corpus) is not good for the health of the people, the authorities started to remove them. Cono Corpus plants from South America are used for beautification. A study has shown that due to them the ground water will decrease and it is also dangerous for people’s health. Following the orders of the Deputy Chief Minister, the process of removing them has started in AP.
